Hot & steamy boudoir shoots – They all start with a feeling
If you look at our more feminine and flirty boudoir photos you’ll walk away with a very different feeling than if you look at some of the more daring photos further down this page. Why is that? It’s a mixture of the set, the mood, the outfits, and the poses.
Along with traditional style boudoir, kinky boudoir is more likely to include actual or implied nudity than fun and flirty boudoir. That doesn’t mean you have to reveal anything, though. The right leather, strappy, studded lingerie can take a kinky boudoir shoot to the next level. Even a simple black bra and panty set can come to life in the right set with a spicy pose.
Two of the biggest pieces of the kinky boudoir puzzle are the set and the props. We might not advocate for props in most of our traditional and flirty shoots, but they are almost a MUST when it comes to kink.
Dark, seductive, or neon colours are perfect for an S&M boudoir shoot
In our studio’s After Dark set, we use bright white neon lights as a backdrop for dramatic shots. Just have a look at how they illuminate the first two photos below. Jaw dropping. Am I right?
Notice that the clients in these pictures choose either dark colours or a shock of bright red. They either work WITH the darker elements of the sets or they stand out in a way that demands attention.
Soft lighting can have a surprisingly dramatic appeal, as well, when it’s placed right. We love the effect in the top-lit image below. The other great thing about this photo is that it isn’t QUITE kink but it sure is spicy. This part of our after dark set creates a scene and tells a story. A very naughty story.
Let your fetishes fly free… or don’t – it’s YOUR photoshoot
Either is fine, really. Do you have a thing for whips and chains? Want a photo focus on your feet? We’re happy to work your fetishes into tasteful, kinky boudoir photos.
